My absolute favorite thing to purchase from Sephora are their favorites sets. I love that they include different products and brands so you can not only sample a bunch of things, but also hopefully find a new favorite. A few weeks ago I bought not one,not two, but THREE Sephora Favorites Sets. I’ve decided to show you the products I am most excited about from each set. Would love to hear your thoughts on any of these sets, brands or products!
Glow For It (RV $40) Years ago I bought a bronzing Sephora Favorites set and I loved it. Prior to that, I was very particular about bronzers and never strayed, but with the help of the kit, I broadened my horizons and learned that I could use a variety of bronzers- matte, shimmer, powder and liquid. Since I am only now really getting into highlighters, I thought the Glow For It kit would be a great introduction to different formulations and colors.
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone (RV $19): Besides the BECCA x Chrissy Teigen face palette, I don’t own anything from BECCA. This is one of these cult products that everyone raves about, so I am happy to finally have it in my possession.
Milk Makeup Highlighter in Lit (RV $5): Milk is another brand I haven’t tried much. This is a finely-milled shimmer that gives an easy dewey glow. I also think this stick applicator will make for easy applications.
tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Highlighter in Exposed (RV $10): I have a lot of the tarte blushes, but this is the first highlighter I’ve used from them.
Prime, Set, Go (RV $42) Primers are an important part of my makeup routine, and I often use primers to even out my complexion and skip the foundation altogether. I’ve used a few primers, but I am still on the hunt for my holy-grail. I’m hoping to find it in the Prime, Set, Go set.
BECCA First Light Priming Filter (RV $7.6): With age, my skin has become a bit lackluster. This primer brightens dull skin which is just what I need. I hope I can wear this to brighten my face without foundation.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer (RV $19): I’ve had this before, and really liked it so it was one of the main reasons I decided to purchase this kit. This works wonders on my oily skin; it smoothes my skin and my makeup application flawless.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick (Rv $14): From what I hear, this is a great product for those no-makeup days. I have oily skin and large pores, so this is supposed to be a fantastic product for me.
Scouted by Sephora (RV $44) Besides Tata Harper and Farmacy, all of the brands in this set are completely new to me. I’ve read about some of the products from my favorite bloggers so I’m glad I will finally get to sample them, without having to purchase the full-size products. I think this might be my favorite one to date, since I’m pretty sure I will use all the products included.
Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial (RV $24): This chemical exfoliant (I think that’s what it’s called, correct me if I’m wrong!), is the one I am the most excited to use. This is described as an at-home facial, which sounds like just what my dull skin needs.
Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask (RV $10.3): I am familiar with azulene oil, as it’s commonly used as an after-wax oil. I don’t think I’ve used a face mask with that anti-inflammatory ingredient, so I’m very intrigued by it.
Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask (RV $4.3): Farmacy is a brand I discovered about a year ago and I’ve been very pleased with their products so far. Throw a warming mask into the mix, and I don’t see how anything could go wrong. I can’t wait to give this a go.
What are your thoughts on the Sephora Favorites Sets? Have you used any of these products?
