Over the past few months, I have used up quite a few products, but I have been saving them so that I could write an empties post and share my thoughts with you. As a side note, I will not be repurchasing any of them, even the ones I love and miss, but that’s only because I am on a no-buy and do not need any more products!
Farmacy New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains (*I forgot to include this in the photo*) . This is the first time I’ve used a powder exfoliator, and I really like it! It’s a powder that you mix with water to form an exfoliating paste- you can actually adjust the graininess of it by changing the ratio. I like that the granules are large enough to actually soften my skin, but are not harsh. This is a product I actually would consider repurchasing, so I will be adding it to my wishlist for when I need a new exfoliator.
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist. When I first received this spray, I wasn’t exactly sold on it so it sat unused for many months. However, I started using it after I ran out of other toners and I’ve slowly come around to it. I like the rose scent and this mist is very refreshing after cleansing. I don’t know that it actually does anything for my skin, but it smells and fells nice so that’s good enough for me.
Derma E Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask. As you probably know by now, I really love Derma E, and this product is no exception. It’s a clay mask that is applied like any other mask and once it’s dry, you wet your fingers and rub the exfoliant into your skin as you wash it away- so it deep cleans and also exfoliators. And the best part is- it only takes 5 minutes!
Tata Harper Purifying Mask. This mud mask is almost mousse like, with a nice cooling effect on the skin that tells me it’s working! After using it for 30 minutes, my skin was clearer and felt less oily. Now that I’ve finished this mask, I can definitely say it had a positive impact on my skin and with breakouts. The only bad thing about this mask is that it has a very strong ginger scent, so people with sensitive skin might want to avoid it.
Nuxe Rieve de Miel Nourishing Lip Balm. This was my first high end lip balm and I felt insanely guilty for spending $30 on a lip balm. But then I used it, and wanted to buy back ups for my back ups. I didn’t, but now that this is gone I wish I had. It leaves my lips so soft and absorbs really quickly so I can immediately apply lipstick.
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment. Over the past 3 years or so, I have tested out many hair oils, and I keep going back to this one. It leaves my hair smooth, frizz-free and also helps it dry faster, but it never leaves it looking greasy (unless of course I use too much). . I use a few drops on my strands and then rub my hands together and then use what’s left to tame the fly aways at my roots.
What products have you used up lately? Any that you plan on repurchasing?
