The beginning of the 21st century see the rise of portable entertainment utilities ranging from game devices to music players, playing a more and more indispensible role in modern people's life, especially for teenagers. It is widely seen that students with their earsets on all the time, even at school. However there are always disputes ensuing such a new trend.
Listening music after class, though preferable to most students since they offer a contrast, comfortable experience against vapid and dull classes, does little benefit to health. Statisitcs have shown that overexposure to music, especially with a inappropiately adjusted volume, would result in eternal mayhem in people's hearing. What's more, the widespread fashion of rock, pop and dance music, whose energetic rhythms enthrall most young people, would largely distract students' concentration from their classes.
Maybe the best compromise is the proper selection of music style(light, classical music does appear far better for your hearing protection ), prudent constrain of time spent on listening to music and other moderate control of sets like volumes, so as to satisfy teenagers' appetite and avert substantial impact on their health and study.

Music is a kind of art without any borders in the world. Most of the young people like pop music, such as dancing music, rockn'roll and rap music while the old people and the middle aged people enjoy the folk songs and jazz.Music,no matter what kind it is,can make people get energetic and refreshed. If you feel tired or upset, you may listen to some music. That will be very helpful.。
I like music because music can bring me pleasure and relaxiation. In some way it can also reduce the patients' pain so some hospitals are using music to treat their patients.Music is really good to our health. It can refresh our brain after long time hard work.It can also make us forget our sadness .In my free time I usually make full of time to listen to music. In music I have found the virtue of human being ,the value of ourselves and the beauty of nature.Music and I are so closely connected that we can not separate forever.。

Ed came home from his errands and put the groceries into the cupboard and the refrigerator. He grabbed a flathead screwdriver and a pair of pliers from his toolbox. In the kitchen, he got down on his hands and knees and turned on the flashlight. After a couple of minutes of looking, he decided what to do. He had never opened up a disposal before, but there is a first time for everything. The cylindrical disposal was about 7 inches in diameter and had a horizontal seam dividing the top half from the bottom half. The halves were held together by three screws. Ed jiggled the bottom half of the disposal; it was loose because two of the three screws were corroded. Only one screw was still doing its duty. Ed unscrewed it. The bottom half of the disposal was now lying on the cabinet floor. Ed thought for sure that it would be full of months-old food, but there was no food, only a hardened, torn, useless gasket. The next day Ed went to the hardware store to buy some screws and a new gasket. The employee told him that they did not carry those gaskets and suggested that he write to the manufacturer. Ed returned home. He created his own gasket by using gasket sealant that comes in a tube. He applied the sealant, screwed the two halves back together, and crossed his fingers. The next day he turned on the water and switched on the disposal. When he saw the water pouring out of the seam, Ed knew one thing: it was time to buy a new disposal. The good thing was that new disposals started at $79. The bad thing was that it would have to be installed by a plumber. Plumber rates started at about $80 an hour. Ed decided that since the disposal used a lot of energy and the world needed to use less energy, from now on he would put his scraps into the kitchen garbage bag. He reminded himself to tell everyone at work tomorrow about how he was now helping to solve the world's energy probl。
1. Listening To Music Reduces Stress 聽(tīng)音樂(lè )可以減壓 A lot of us intuitively turn to relaxing music when we are feeling stressed or tired. Perhaps unsurprisingly, we're not just imagining things. Significant research backs it up. In particular, slow, quiet classical music is suggested to have the most soothing effect.
So if you have a hard time dealing with stress, compiling a playlist of some fitting classical songs could be a good idea. Or try listening to a relaxing, classical-style movie soundtrack.
2. Listening To Music Improves Endurance 聽(tīng)音樂(lè )增強耐力 Do you work out? Have you always felt like you perform better when you listen to music? Odd as it might seem, there has actually been a lot of research done on this subject. And sure enough, one study shows that music can increase endurance by 15%.
One theory is that the continuity of a classical piece helps you focus, which in turn allows you to persevere longer. However, another study suggests that it's not the type of music, but rather the speed of the music—the beats per minute (bpm)—that matter. According to the study, the optimal speed would be 125–140 bpm.
3. It Can Make You Healthier 聽(tīng)音樂(lè )可以使你更加健康 It might seem too good to be true, but some research suggests that there are measurable health benefits from simply listening to music. Listening to music can also release dopamine, often dubbed “the pleasure chemical”. You could perhaps substitute the pleasure achieved through eating your comfort foods by indulging in your favorite music, with none of the negative health repercussions.
4. Singing With A Group Of People Makes You Happier 和一群人一起合唱會(huì )讓你更快樂(lè ) Ever thought people that sing in a choir look a bit…too happy? Well, as it turns out, it's not just your imagination. Science actually explains what makes them so happy. And the best part of it is, even less-than-great singers experienced the same positive effects.
What does this mean for you? Hopefully, that the next time you get the chance to have a sing-along with someone else, you take it, instead of worrying about how you will be received. It's very likely to cheer you up! One of the studies listed also suggest that singing together increases bonding. And don't worry, if you feel like you're just too shy, you can stick to singing in the shower. But just make sure you do it a bit more often.
5. Learning To Play An Instrument As A Kid Makes You More Successful Later Research shows a noticeable correlation between learning to play an instrument as a child, and becoming successful later in life. So if you were always upset with your parents for forcing you to play the violin—or like me, the piano—take a minute to be grateful. I just thanked my father. One of my biggest regrets these days is that I never actually tried to learn to play the piano properly.
Music could be created in any place when you have inspiration. At most times, we enjoy music like symphonic music. Even pop music, there is needn't to understand what are they wanting to tell us. We just need to hear it carefully. Therefore, music shouldn't have national boundaries.
According to my personal experience, music has a more positive effect on our life. When we are in a blue mood, we could listen to some foreigner song. Such as, My Love, the Funeral of Hearts and Close to the flame etc. The music is that we needn't to realize what are they singing. When you listen to their rhythm and style, you will feel your heart be touched and shake in a blue mood. Then, you will be enlightened and acquire power.
On the other hand, different music could promote society develop. As everyone knows, KFC and Mcdonald's are popular in China, as well as, there is nothing in the world can delight me so much as having a hamburger in these store. There are three major reasons and other details. The foremost reason first one is convenience. Second is save time. The third is delicious. However, the detail is also essential for the fast-food store. Music is one of them. The music rhythm is factor that if they play a smooth music, the customer will find the taste of food better. If the store plays a rapid pace of music, people will eat their food more speedily when the store is rush time. That will provide more desk and table for client to available.
Music has more effect and application of us around that I was not mentioned. In a word, music helps country and people more good than harm.

Nowadays, more and more prefer to listen to their Mp3s while they are reading books or doing something else related with study. Many teachers and parents are against their doing so violently. In their opinion, listening to the music while studying will affect their efficiency of study, and also discentrulize their attention.
But I have different views of point. Nobody can deny the high pressure the students are facing everyday. They have to do many jobs within a day. They even have little spare time to do the things they like. In the period of the growing up for young people, to have a distinct character and personality is very cool, however, day and night study has forced them the same character and a low-spirited face. I think listening to some music will help to cheer them up and full them with new energy. Happy and cheerful music can drive their fatigue and sadness far away. Maybe they will not listen to the music carefully, but the advantages it bring to them are very large.
Thus I advise students listen to some music while doing homework or reading book, but pay attention to choose the music suits you best.
