Review: Glossier Priming Moisturizer & Skin Tint

As I told you here, I finally took the plunge and purchased some items from Glossier. I head about the Glossier products over and over again, and finally decided they were perfect for me so I couldn’t wait any longer to own them! I bought the Priming Moisturizer, Skin Tint and Moisturizing Moon Mask. Today, I would like to review the priming moisturizer and skin tint since at the time of the last post, I hadn’t tested these two items at all.

I’ll start with the Priming Moisturizer since that’s the item I use first (obviously!). This moisturizer promises to prepare for skin to create a smooth, flawless canvas for the Skin Tint. Not only will it reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines, but it also plumps the skin and even textures. Those are a lot of claims, but I do feel it holds up its claims. I’ve been using this as my morning moisturizer every day for the past two weeks, and I’m starting to see positive results. My pores do appear smaller ( although I know you can’t actually shrink pores, so this is probably all in my head), and the redness on my cheeks is definitely reduced. So much so that for the past week I haven’t even bothered to wear makeup every day. I also find this cream is mattifying which is great as I have an oily/shiny t-zone.

The cream sets my skin up perfectly for the Skin Tint. The skin tint comes in 3 shades- light, medium and dark. I bought the medium and it’s great because it’s so lightweight that you can easily blend it if it’s not a perfect match for you. Since it’s so lightweight you can also layer it for additional coverage. I find that doing one layer all over my face, and a second layer around my nose and cheeks provides the perfect amount of coverage. I then apply a pressed powder just on my t-zone, bronzer and highlighter and my skin looks absolutely radiant. I don’t think my skin has ever looked as good as it does with this new routine. It also looks like my skin, you can’t tell I’m wearing makeup which is amazing. Plus, a little goes a long way so this small bottle will last for quite a while.

Have you tried any Glossier products yet? What are your thoughts?
