New in Beauty: October 2016

For the month of October, I decided to sample some beauty products outside of just skincare- I am also testing a new hair product and body product.

Clarins Shaping Facial Lift Wrap

The first product I’m testing is the Clarins Shaping Facial Lift Wrap. This masks claims to refine, tighten, and define facial contours to relieve puffiness and roundness while restoring a soft, smooth and bright complexion- all in as little as 10 minutes! Now that’s a huge claim, but surprisingly, I’ve found most reviews to be really positive. Some reviews swear by this product to wake up and depuff skin after travel. Well I’ll be traveling this week so this will definitely be going into my travel bag to see if it helps!

NUXE Body Fondant Shower Gel

NUXE makes some of my favorite facial products, like this serum or oil, but I have yet to test out their body products. I received this in a NUXE sample set and I kept forgetting about it! I just adore the NUXE brand so much so I am really happy to be able to try one of their lesser known products.

Avene Cleanance Cleansing Gel

I have been going through face washes like crazy, so it’s time for me to break into yet another face wash sample. I received this Avene Cleanance Cleansing Gel in a swap because I have heard so much about this product. Gel cleansers are less harsh than traditional soaps, making them ideal for oily and blemish-prone skin. My skin has not been happy lately, so I’m hoping this will calm it down a bit and help to get rid of some of my spots. Fingers crossed it works!

Harvey Prince Sea Salt Texturizing Mist

As I’ve mentioned before, I am really low key when it comes to my hair. But I love the way it looks after I’ve spent the day frolicking at the beach. Therefore, I was thrilled when sea salts became a thing and got my hands on as many of them as I possible could. This particular one, Harvey Prince Sea Salt Texturizing Mist, a received a few months ago but am only now testing it out.I’ve been using it after a detangling spray and throwing my hair in a ponytail. So far, I don’t know that it does much in terms of wind-blown style, but it definitely works for the texturizing aspect.

Are you trying any new products this month?
