Jouer Matte Moisture Tint Review

I’ve mentioned the jouer matte moisture tint a few times (here and here) so I figured it was time to do a full review.

I will start by saying I love this stuff. I tried samples of it in the past from Birchbox, but only recently bit the bullet and actually bought a full size. I got it a few months ago and have used it every day since.

I got the matte version as opposed to the luminizing version. I have oily skin and I was afraid the lumunizing one would exaggerate that. The matte one has been great for that, and even in the winter it doesn’t make my skin look dry.

The lightweight formula doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, yet it still manages to cover imperfections. I don’t like heavy makeup and this feels and looks natural, while hiding blemishes. Depending on how my skin looks, I sometimes add a second layer to certain places (specifically my cheeks), and it still doesn’t look caked on which is amazing.  I apply it with the beauty blender which definitely contributes to the natural look. I find that since not much is required to cover your entire face, the tube will last a while!

This is probably me being crazy, but I feel like it’s good for my skin! Since it’s lightweight my skin can still breath so I don’t get breakouts. And the tint has SPF so even though there’s not much sun in the Northeast, my skin is protected from whatever rays make it down.

Right now, this is my absolute favorite face product. I’m curious to see if this stays on top once the weather and my skin change. I’ll keep you updated!
