Brand Spotlight: Benefit Cosmetics

Benefit is one of the first brands I ever used, but it quickly got pushed aside for other brands. However, it’s been one that is always raved about so clearly they have done something right. I recently revisited them and realized they have been a long-time favorite for a very good reason. The products are very high quality and the packaging is so cute and fun!

I have never been into primers because I didn’t think they did much, but the POREfessional primer really does what it claims to! It reduces the appearance of fine lines and pores and also contains vitamin E to protect the skin, while also reducing shine. Additionally, it leaves skin flawless and really helps makeup to stay put.

They’re Real mascara is my, and so many other’s holy-grail mascara. I haven’t been able to find one that compares but it’s not for lack of trying. It really does it all-lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts and separates. Eyelashes are never left clumpy and instead are left long and thick.
Brow Zings contains everything you need for clean, perfect brows. It comes with instructions on how to use the wax, powder and included brushes to ensure you get natural looking brows. I don’t have a lot of experience with brows, but I found this really easy to use and my brows have never looked better.

The cheek powders were the first products I ever used from Benefit, specifically Hoola. Hoola is a matte bronzing powder that gives you a sun kissed glow- perfect for someone just getting into makeup! Even now, after I’ve been wearing makeup for years, Hoola remains one of my favorite bronzers. In addition to the bronzer, Benefit makes so many other amazing cheek powders- from Dandelion, a brightening all-over face color and Sugarbomb, a shimmering highlighter, to Rockateur and Coralista, beautiful blushes that compliment all skin tones.

In addition to all the makeup products, I’ve been able to test a few of the skincare products and they too are amazing. Overall, Benefit is a great line that I will continue to turn to for both my makeup and skincare needs. What are you favorite products from Benefit?
