April 2015 Empties

I made a conscious effort to use more up this month, and it paid off!

Caudalie Divine Oil. I was so sad to finish this. In fact, I kept putting off finishing it to save it for a special occasion. I’ve realized there is no point in that so I am no longer saving things and instead just using them when I want to! This is definitely on my repurchase list when I have more birchbox points and a code.

Miracle Skin Transformer. As I mentioned here, I really like this primer. It left my skin feeling really smooth and ready for foundation. I would repurchase this when I run out of my current primer (stila one step correct).

Kiehl’s Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish. Exfoliation is something I really enjoy doing, so I was happy to have this in the shower. It did a great job at getting the dead skin cells off as my skin felt extremely smooth after use. I also really enjoyed the honey scent.

Kiehl’s Multi-Corrective Cream. I was able to get a few of these deluxe moisturizer samples from my cyber Monday order (read about it here), and I’m so happy I did! These little tubs are the perfect size for travel and a little goes a long way, so this went on multiple trips with me over the past year. I don’t remember this cream being anything special, but it got the job done and that’s good enough for me.

Kiehl’s Non-Greasy Hand Cream. As a scientists, I am constantly putting on gloves and washing my hands, which takes a tool on my hands. I kept this super moisturizing cream at my desk so I could reapply as necessary. I loved that it was non-greasy because I didn’t have to wait long before putting gloves on again!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm. I tried this alone and I didn’t feel like it gave my skin enough coverage. I then used it under my tinted moisturizer and I liked the results better, but still not enough to buy this.

H2O Dual-Action Exfoliating Cleanser. Since finishing up my Liz Earle cleanser, I’ve been working my way through my stash in hopes of finding a new holy grail cleanser.  I used this just a hand full of times and actually threw it away without finishing it- not only did it sting my eyes, but I started getting breakouts on my forehead. No point trying to make it work at the expense of my skin.

Ole Henriksen Cleansing Cloths. I use cloths to clean my face whenever I’m too lazy or tired to go through the correct routine. I took these on a vacation with me since it was a small travel pack that was the perfect size for travel. I liked these alot because the cloth was quilted so I felt they actually helped with exfoliation which most others don’t. I also liked the scent.

Vasanti Detox Cream Cleanser. Like the H20 cleanser, I was hoping this could be my new favorite. I used it for my travels, and for those short trips it as perfect. I probably wouldn’t buy the full size, but I would use the deluxe sample for travel again.

Beauty Protector Protect & Oil. I love using hair oils and this one was no exception. With oils, a little goes a long way so this little bottle lasted me a surprising amount of time. I have another little bottle that I will use for travels.

There are my empties for the  month! I’m pretty proud of myself for getting through quite a few full size and deluxe sample sizes. How did you do this month?
